Did You Hire another painter?
if you went with the cheapest bid and now have a terrible paint job, we can fix it. Not everyone can paint well, just like not everyone can tell a good painter from a bad. Either way we can turn that mess around, including associated trades.  That painter was cheap, but he also destroyed your beautiful landscaping. Our friends can bring it back around. They oversprayed your car? I have friends that can detail it for you. (Of course you can bypass all this headache and have us paint it right the first time)

We charge a fair price for the level of craftsmanship we provide. You can find a cheaper deal, but I guarantee it will not be the same level of service or skill. We adhere to higher standards of painting, as accepted by the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America. Caveat- often with the 'cheap' deal you don't get craftsmanship, you get 'crap'smanship.

 

 

 Don't be fooled by the competition's price.

I was just chatting with a painter the other day who was telling me the stuff his boss had him do. It was on a commercial job that has a spec book, requiring certain products and a certain number of paint coats. This is the second time he's told me about numerous jobs.

Rather than follow the spec, he was told to skip some steps and paint an inferior product on the wall. The painter told me you can walk down this hallway and it will just fall of if you hit it with your fingernail.  The general contractor is just happy he got a painting contractor to do it cheap (raising his profit) and may or may not care. (probably would if he got caught)

I bid against this company. How is that fair to the customer?  How is that fair to the taxpayer who actually is paying for this project?  Even more personal to me, this painting contractor belongs to an organization that I do, and is butchering everything it stands for.

The painter I was talking to, told me I should cut corners and just hack stuff out and I will make tons of money.  It's about more than that with me.
